Area Reps connect with businesses, musicians, and the general public on topics surrounding live music in our city. They promote the economic and cultural benefits of having a healthy music scene, and address any concerns stakeholders have regarding live music conditions. They also advocate for best practices for local businesses already hosting live music, facilitate connections to activate underused spaces, and inform artists about resources and opportunities available to them.

People interested in becoming Area Reps must be available to attend monthly LBMC meetings held at 7 p.m. on the second Monday of every month. Participation is mandatory for identifying and resolving music related issues, to make team decisions that impact and define our organization’s activities, and to assist with developing the necessary tools to further the LBMC’s mission and goals.

If you are interested in becoming an Area Rep please tell us about yourself and your interests to support the music scene in Long Beach Get Involved Here.
